Nepal joins Miss Universe for the First Time in Pageant History
Nagma Shrestha is the first-ever Miss Nepal to compete in Miss Universe pageant! 25-year-old Nagma from Kathmandu has been crowned Miss Universe Nepal 2017 on the 22nd of September 2017 at Hotel Annapurna, Kathmandu.
This 6-foot-tall stunner was Top 8 semi-finalist at Miss Earth 2012 competition in the Philippines. She also competed at World Miss University 2016 in China and placed as 3rd runner-up. She is also the goodwill ambassador of Childreach Nepal and Ujayalo Foundation and is actively involved in social work. This year marks the first time Nepal will be joining the Miss Universe pageant. Congratulations!

Miss Romania wins Miss Global Charity Queen 2017

26-year-old Communication and Public Relations graduate Eliza Ancău of Romania was crowned Miss Global Charity Queen 2017 on 23rd of September 2017 at the Hotel Four Points by Sheraton in Penghu, Taiwan. Eliza bested 40 other countries and will receive a one-year contract to serve as an official ambassador for 2018 World Congress of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club to be held in Penghu, Taiwan. This pageant veteran also represented her country at 2015's Miss Supranational in Poland and Miss Global Beauty Queen 2017 competition held in South Korea.

Sophia Koch is Miss Universe Germany 2017
Sophia Koch, Miss Saxony-Anhalt, was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2017 by last year's winner Johanna Acs on September 24 at Dormero Hotel Bonn in Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany.
20-year-old Sophia Koch is a Social Studies and German Literature student at the University of Halle. She loves ballet dancing and speaks 4 languages; German, English, French and Spanish. This gorgeous will represent Germany at the upcoming Miss Universe 2017 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
She bested 9 other beauties including her court: Sophie Imelmann and Dalina Staszewski first and second runners-up respectively.

Perla Helou is Miss Lebanon 2017
In front of a packed casino at the Casino du Liban in Jounieh, Perla Helou walked away with the crown after winning the title of Miss Lebanon 2017.
Perla is a 22-year-old Business Management graduate and will now represent Lebanon at the upcoming Miss World 2017 beauty pageant in Sanya, China on November 18th. Perla beat out 14 other contestants and succeeded last year's winner Sandy Tabet.

Solange Sinclair is Miss World Jamaica 2017
24-year-old Public Relations consultant Solange Sinclair was crowned Miss World Jamaica 2017 at the Courtleigh Auditorium in New Kingston over the weekend. She bested 17 other candidates including her court Diedre McKenzie and Jeneque Pinnock who were first and second runners-up, respectively.
Solange will represent Jamaica at the Miss World 2017 competition on November 18 in China. Outgoing Miss World Jamaica 2016 is Ashlie Barrett.

Miss Global Beauty Queen 2017 to kick off in Korea on October 2nd

ERM KOREA, will hold the Miss Global Beauty Queen 2017, from October 2nd to October 20th, in South Korea. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of South Korea co-owns the pageant and 60 to 80 countries will participate in. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Duyen from Vietnam will crown her successor at the end of the event.
Starting with the first pageant in Canada, 138 countries in the world are participating in this worldwide major beauty pageant. Arna Ýr Jónsdóttir is Miss Universe Iceland 2017
It was a lot of glitz, shimmer, and sparkle Monday evening as the Gamla Bíó in Reykjavík, Iceland hosted the Miss Universe Iceland 2017.
22-year-old Arna Yr Jondottir, Miss Northern Lights, won the Miss Universe Iceland 2017 title and will now represent her country at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Arna bested 16 other beauties and was crowned by last year's winner Hildur María Leifsdóttir.
This track and field athlete is no stranger in the pageantry world. She was Miss Iceland at the Miss World 2015 pageant held in China, and Miss Euro 2016 winner. She became one of the controversial beauty queens last year when she quit from Miss Grand International after pageant organizers asked her to lose weight.

Beauty queen maker and talent manager Jonas Antonio Gaffud is the new franchise owner of Manhunt International Philippines.

Sarah Wlodarek, 25-year-old licensed doctor, has been appointed to represent Poland at the Miss Universe 2017 competition.
The news was confirmed by Miss Polonia’s official Instagram page.
She won second runner-up at last year's Miss Polonia and represented Poland at Miss Model of the World pageant in China.

Karen Rojas was crowned Miss Earth Peru 2017 and will now represent the country at Miss Earth 2017 competition to be held on November 4, 2017 in the Philippines. Katherine Espín of Ecuador will crown her successor at the end of the event.
