Isabel Chikoti is Miss Universe Zambia 2017

After 7 years of absence in the Miss Universe stage, southern African country Zambia will compete again for the crown of Miss Universe this year! The last time a Zambian woman joined the pageant was Alice Rowlands Musukwa, in 2010.

26-year-old Isabel Chikoti from Chingola bested 16 other beauties at a crowning event held on August 26 at Mulungushi Conference Centre. Meanwhile, Mercy Mukwiza and Luwi Kawanda were named first and second runners-up, respectively.
