Emma Mae Sheedy was crowned Miss Earth Guam 2017 on June 21 at Sheraton Laguna Resort. Emma bested 16 other beauties and will now represent the US island territory in Micronesia at the upcoming Miss Earth 2017 pageant in the Philippines.
At the same crowning event, Jestyne Sablan got the title of Miss Earth Guam-Air, Jenna Deena Panuelo is Miss Earth Guam-Water while Julia Rivera earned the "Fire" title.
Sheedy is a member of Guam’s national track and field team and the co-editor of the Pacific Daily News' VIBE program. She's an incoming senior at Guam High School and will be the editor of the program in the upcoming school year.
