Panupong Wantawat, Mr. Thailand was hailed as the Mister Model International 2016 in India on November 20th, 2016, the first Asian to win the male international pageant. This was the 4th edition of the pageant and the first edition held outside America.
He succeeded last year's winner Melvin Roman from Puerto Rico.
