Catriona is really off to a good start as her Beauty with a Purpose video made it to the Top 24.
The result was announced at the Miss World facebook page and website.
The ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ was incorporated into the Miss World beauty pageant to award one contestant who makes a special dedication to a charitable cause to help those who are less fortunate.
Last year’s winner of ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ was awarded to Miss World 2015 second runner-up Miss Indonesia Maria Harfanti.
Catriona has taken it upon herself to raise funds for the preschool in the Smokey Mountain area. She does this through benefit concerts, auctioning off original artworks, creating social media movements. She calls this campaign as ‘Paraiso: Beginning’s Project.’
