María Elisa Tulian was crowned Miss World SPAIN 2017 on September 16, 2017, at Palau d'Esports i Congressos, Girona, Spain. 21-year-old Elisa succeeds Raquel Tejedor Meléndez, Miss World Spain 2016, and will now represent Spain at the Miss World 2017 competition in Sanya, China.
She outwitted 50 other beauties including her runners-up: Katixa Elizegui who was first runner-up and the second runner-up Mercedes Riviera from Valencia. Spain has one Miss World crown through Mireia Lalaguna Royo who was named the winner of the Miss World 2015 in China.
