April Tobie, a 19-year-old model from Roatan, was crowned the winner of Miss Universe Honduras 2017 on September 9, 2017 at Auditorium Jorge Emilio Jaar, USAP, Honduras.
April triumphed over 19 delegates including her court :
Olga Avila of Siguatepeque – 1st runner-up
Shirle Calix of Valle- 2nd runner-up
Cecilia Amador of Copán – 3rd runner-up
Scarleth Contreras of Guanaja – 4th runner-up
She succeeded Miss Honduras 2016 Sirey Moran and will now compete for Miss Universe 2017
competition.
