Khephra Sylvester was crowned Miss British Virgin Islands 2017 on August 6, at the Multipurpose Sports Complex in Road Town with its theme, ‘Beauty With Purpose; Evolution of Pride and Culture’. Khepra succeeds last year's winner Erika Creque and will represent the islands at the 2017 Miss Universe and the Miss World Pageants.
She also took the awards for Best Interview and Intellect and triumphed over 5 other candidates including her court: first runners-up Ayana Phillip and contestant and Helina Hewlett, and second runner-up Lean Francis.
