Mareeya Poonlertlarb or Maria Poonlertlarp Ehren was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2017 on July 29, 2017 at the Royal Paragon Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. She succeeds last year's winner Chalita Suansane who was named as one of the Top 6 finalists during Miss Universe 2016 in the Philippines.
She bested 39 other Thai beauties including her court :

21 Suraparin Artkongharn, third runner-up
34 Ratchanok Naowaset, fourth runner-up
