A 25-year-old beauty from Guayas Romina Zeballos Avellan was crowned Miss World Ecuador 2017 in a coronation event held in Juan Montalvo Park, Manchala on July 22, 2017.Romina succeeds last year's queen Mirka Cabrera and bested 14 other beauties including her court: Nicolette Coric from Pastaza, first runner up and Alexandra Zambrano from Esmeraldas who placed second runner-up.
She will now represent Ecuador at the Miss World 2017 pageant to be held in China on November 18th.
