Christina Waage from Auli, Kongsvinger was crowned Miss Universe Norway 2016. The pageant was held last July 30, 2016 at Open Stage in Oslo. She will represent the "Land of the Midnight Sun" at Miss Universe 2016 in Manila, Philippines.
In 1990, Mona Grudt became the first and the only Norwegian to capture the Miss Universe.
