18-year-old high school student Vena Mookram was crowned Miss World Guyana 2017 on June 25th, 2017 at the Marriott Hotel in Guyana. She succeeds last year's queen Nuriyyih Gerard and will now represent Guyana at Miss World 2017 in China.
