India's representative for Miss World 2017 pageant has been crowned!
Manushi Chhillar of Haryana bested 29 other candidates at the grand finale of FFB Femina Miss India 2017 held on June 25th, Sunday, at Mumbai’s Yashraj Studios.

Second Runner-Up: Priyanka Kumaru, Miss Bihar
Manushi is a professional model and a medical student. Manushi, born to doctor parents, studied in St. Thomas School in Delhi and Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat.
The last time an Indian won the Miss World crown was Priyanka Chopra in 2000. Other Indians who won the title in the past are Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997) and Yukta Mookhey (1999).
