Binibining Pilipinas 2017 alumna Maria Gail Tobes was crowned Miss Manila 2017 on June 24th, 2017 at the Philippine International Convention Center. Tobes bested 29 other ladies and succeeds last year's winner Cristelle Tolentino. She will receive P1,000,000 worth of prizes, comprised of a management contract and P500,000 in cash and will also represent the City of Manila in different functions and events. Gail is a veterinary doctor who graduated Cum Laude at the University of Eastern Philippines.
