Dutch-Indonesian Tessa Helena La Conge of the Netherlands returns to the Philippines to continue her duties as Miss Asia Pacific International 2016. 23-year-old Tessa will be part of the regional screenings of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017.
Tessa Helena Le Conge arrived on June 12 at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 via Emirates Air.
She will be flying together with Mutya Ng Pilipinas executives and staff in different key provinces of the country for the annual search of the longest running national pageant in the Philippines. Ganiel Akrisha Krishan of Manila is the reigning Mutya ng Pilipinas-Asia Pacific International. The winner of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2017 competition will represent the country in the Miss Asia Pacific International pageant later this year.
Miss Asia Pacific International Pageant was established as the Miss Asia Quest in 1968. It started accepting delegates from the Eastern Pacific region in 1984 and became known as the Miss Asia Pacific Quest. The pageant went beyond the borders of Asia-Pacific and was rebranded as Miss Asia Pacific International pageant.
