Raquel Pelissier, Miss Universe 2016 First Runner-Up from Haiti, will be unveiling her book "L'Art Belle Peau" (The Art of Being Your Beautiful Self".
The book will provide guides to all beauty pageant aspirants about personality development, basic projecting an image on the stage and other pageant-related topics. The book will also talk about Raquel's wonderful experience at the 65th Miss Universe pageant in the Philippines.
At the age of three, Pélissier was in a 21-day coma, came out of it and was paralyzed for a week. 25-year-old Raquel has survived the earthquake that destroyed her hometown in January 2010, which made her value her life and fight for her goals and dreams.
Pélissier has a Master’s Degree in Scientific Research in Optometry and Vision from Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain
I'm excited to announce that I will be publishing my book "The art of being your beautiful self". It means alot to me to bring that project to life. About 5 months before the last edition of miss universe, i knew very little about pageantry and I had to learn everything like a sponge. Through this pageantry guide, I share everything I learned during this journey and all my tips to succeed. This book goes out to anyone who wants to participate in a pageant but who finds herself doubting about it. This journey is yours to live and you can definitely succeed if you just follow my guidance. Stay tuned. More infos to come. Big thank you to @mscplus for making this happen.
