Polina Popova of Sverdlovsk Oblast Region is Miss Russia 2017 at the crowning ceremony held at
the concert hall Barvikha Luxury Village in Moscow on April 15th, 2017.
Polina bested 50 other candidates and will now have the rights to represent the world's largest country Russia at the 2017 Miss World pageant in China.
21-year-old Popova was crowned by last year's winner Yana Dobrovolskaya of Tyumen with a crown of white gold, diamonds and pearls worth more than $1 million.
The coronation event was hosted by Victoria Lopyreva (Miss Russia 2003) and Maxim Privalov. As announced the main winner will go to Miss World while one of the runners up will represent Russia at the 66th edition of Miss Universe pageant.
