Dayanara Torres To Join Sush at the Miss Universe Judging Panel

Aside from Miss Universe 1994 Sushmita Sen, Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres is returning to the Philippines to be one of the judges in the 65th Miss Universe pageant.

According to our reliable sources, the Puerto Rican goddess will join Bollywood star Sen in the panel of judges. She has posted a Snapchat photo at the airport in California and captioned as " Getting closer to my second home".

Torres visited the Philippines in 1994 to crown her successor (Sushmita) in the Miss Universe pageant. She went on to become a celebrity in the country, starring in movies with Aga Muhlach and Cesar Montano, among others.

She is one of the original hosts and performers of the ABS-CBN variety show “ASAP” along with Valenciano, Martin Nievera, Pops Fernandez and Ariel Rivera, and was once dubbed as the Philippines’ “Dancing Queen.” The last time she visited the Philippines was in 2007.

The last time "Yari" judged the Miss Universe pageant was in 2001 when the show was held in Puerto Rico.

The Miss Universe Organization has yet to release the complete list of judges for the 65th Miss Universe pageant on January 30th at MOA Arena.
