JONA To Sing Miss Universe Theme Song

Jona, formerly known as Jonalyn Viray, will give her own take on Miss Universe . Kapamilya star Jona will interpret the opening theme song for Miss Universe Governors Ball that will debut at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City this January 16th.

The Governor's Ball, named after former Ilocos Sur governor Luis "Chavit" Singson (LCS), is a special gala where members of "elite" get an opportunity to have a close encounter with the Miss Universe beauties  in black-tie dinner, which features entertainment from Filipino world-class talents.

The theme song was composed by  one of the music industry's fast- rising young composers, Francis Louis “Kiko” Salazar.

During Miss Universe 1994 in Manila, one of the best music that Miss Universe offered was the fabulous and colorful opening and one of the the best Miss Universe Theme Song ever, “Mabuhay”!
