Rumor has it that Iran will make a debut in the most prestigious pageant in the universe.
According to reports by ABS-CBN News : "Why Miss Universe in PH will be historic" posted last July 30 2016 that according to Tourism Undersecretary Kat de Castro a representative from Tehran will be among the expected 120 candidates in Miss Universe 2016 which is set to be held in the Philippines
