Prior to the first released statement that the 65th Miss Universe pageant will be held at 5 AM, the Miss Universe committee reveals yesterday during Pageant's Media Launch that the final start time of Monday's event will happen at 8 AM and will end by 11 AM.
It will be held morning here in the Philippines to allow network in the United States to televise the pageant live in prime time.
Last time the "5AM statement" of DOT Secretary Wanda Teo caused stir online as netizens were not thrilled about the scheduled time. Some parody twitter accounts were asking if the pageant will either be a fun run or simbang gabi.
Hopefully, President Duterte will also issue an Executive Order declaring January 30 (which falls on Monday) as a non-working holiday in the country.
