Miss Belgium 2016 First Runner-Up Stephanie Geldhof has been appointed as Miss Universe Belgium. The 19-year-old stunner will have the chance to represent Belgium at the upcoming Miss Universe 2016 Pageant in the Philippines.
Miss Belgium 2016 pageant was held in January this year wherein Lenty Frans emerged as the winner. She will represent her country at Miss World 2016 competition on December 18th in Washington D.C., USA.
Stephanie succeeded Annelies Toros, Miss Universe Belgium 2015.
Belgium has never won Miss Universe title. The highest placement of the country in the pageant was in the year 1992 when Anke Vandermeersch was one of the Top 6 contestants.
During Miss Universe 1994 in Manila, Philippines, Miss Belgium 1994 Christelle Roelandst was one of the most popular and most favorite candidates. She has become a superstar in the Philippines but unfortunately, she didn't even make it to the final cut in semi-finals.
