20 year-old Cheryl Chou was crowned Miss Universe Singapore 2016 on October 16th, Saturday at a glittering coronation held at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.
This Lasalle College of the Arts student bested 14 other candidates and will now have the right to represent the Lion City in the upcoming Miss Universe 2016 pageant next year in the Philippines. This vegan girl will receive a $10,000 cash prize, $24,000 of beauty and wellness services from Beaute Hub, up to $20,000 of dental aesthetic services from Orchard Scotts Dental and $9,000 of training sessions from Bodyburn Fitness Singapore.
For the first time Miss Universe Singapore 2016 finals was streamed LIVE on the official Miss U app by Miss Universe organization!
The first and second runners-up are Tanisha Khan and Sonya Branson.
