Teresa Ruglio, a 23-year-old Venezuelan beauty from Sliema, was crowned Miss Universe Malta 2019. She emigrated to Malta due to the difficult situation in her country. Teresa, a motivational speaker, succeeded Francesca Mifsud and will represent Mata at the Miss Universe 2019 pageant.
