Suman Rao, 22-year-old model, was crowned Femina Miss India 2019 held at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, Mumbai on June 15, 2019. Suman succeded Anukreethy Vas and bested 29 other candidates.
She did her schooling at Mahatma Education Society in Navi Mumbai and studied commerce at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, in New Delhi. She is also a trained Kathak dancer.
Suman will represent India at Miss World 2019 pageant to be held in Pattaya, Thailand.
