Lucy Brock from Auckland was crowned the new Miss World New Zealand 2019 in a crowning event held at the Bruce Mason Centre. Lucy, a 24-year-old senior creative strategist, succeeded last year's winner Jessica Tyson and will represent her country at the Miss World 2019 competition in Bangkok, Thailand.
