Marta Magdalena Stępień is Miss Universe Canada 2018

24-year-old Biomedical Engineering Technology student Marta Magdalena Stepien of Ontario was crowned Miss Universe Canada 2018 on August 18, 2018. She succeeded last year's Miss Universe 2017 Top 10 semifinalist Lauren Howe and will now represent Canada at the annual Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok, Thailand.

Marta Magdalena was born in Warsaw, Poland, and was raised in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. She is fluent in English as well as Polish, French, and German.

This professional model is not new in the glitz of pageantry world as she placed 1st Runner-Up at Miss Universe Canada 2017. She was appointed to represent Canada at the Miss International 2017 pageant in Japan.  Marta also represented Canada at Reinado Internacional del Café 2018 where she was named first runner-up.
