22-year-old medical student Jessica S. Carvalho, Miss Piaui CNB, has been crowned as Miss Mundo Brazil 2018 in a crowning ceremony held at the Hotel do Bosque on August 11, 2018. She succeeded last year's winner Gabrielle Vilela and bested 25 other beauties including her court:
1st Runner-Up: Miss Amazonas - Jainy Lemos
2nd Runner-Up: Miss Espírito Santo - Marina Ramada
Jessica is set to represent her country at the upcoming Miss World 2018 pageant in China this December.
