25-year-old Vanessa Ponce De Leon from Mexico City was crowned Miss Mexico 2018 on May 5, 2018, at Salon Imperial de Villa Toscana, Sonora. Vanessa defeated 31 other beauties and earned the right to represent Mexico at the Miss World 2018 competition in Sanya, China this December.
She succeeded last year's winner Andrea Meza.
