Maëva Coucke, 23-year-old beauty from Nord Pas-de-Calais, was crowned Miss France 2018 on December 16, 2017 at the Châteauroux Métropole. Maëva, who has a degree in international trade, and now studying law, defeated 29 other beauties and succeeded last year's winner Alicia Aylies. Maeva will represent France in either Miss Universe or Miss World or may be both pageants.
Meanwhile, Eva Colas (Miss Corse) won the first runner-up placement and might also represent France at the international pageant, probably at the Miss World 2018 competition.
