Dominican Republic's Aletxa Muses advanced to the Miss World 2017 finals after winning the Sports Challenge in Sanya, China. She will automatically earn a "Top 40" spot of Miss World 2017.
Miss Cook Islands Alanna Smith and Miss British Virgin Islands Helena Hewett have finished the second and third positions, respectively. The Red Team won the overall Sports competition.
Miss World 2017 will be held on November 18 in Sanya, China. Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
